Tansen Hospital, Palpa

The United Mission to Nepal was first given permission by the Nepal government to start health care work in Tansen in 1954. It has grown steadily over the years, providing excellent hospital based care, with strong supportive links with the local community primary health care networks. It is also a centre for training of doctors, nurses and other health professionals.
